This page is being produced to show the works of Author Charles W. Sharp Jr. And to highlight his books at AuthorHouse
Publications.
I published my first book “Being Black” At The Sharp Point in March 2004. This publication is an autobiography
depicting my life as a child and teenager growing up in a small Western Pennsylvania town.
After getting out of school in 1963 I went into the US Army where I thought I would make a career. After getting shot
in Vietnam in 1968, and again in 1969 I had to decide if that was the best choice for me as a father, and husband.
When you read my book, you will see the decisions I made about the army and my family. Also some good, and some bad choices
I made after getting out of the army.
We all can attest to some bad decisions that not only impact your life, but also those around you. Especially your immediate
family.
My second book "A Walk On The Rough Side" is a fictional portrayal of a family living
on the Northside of Pittsburgh fighting to get out of the projects and into a home in the suburbs. It was published in
June 2008, and is available now.
